My experience as a volunteer is working as part of the Active Release Techniques (ART) treatment team at the Ironman Championships in Kona, Hawaii. I helped set up and breakdown the treatment site. I was the person who checked the Ironman athletes in to be treated. During race day I worked in the transition tent and on the finish-line. This was a rewarding opportunity to get to meet people from all over the world and provide help with any soft-tissue issues.
